Govt appoints Subodh Kumar Jaiswal Fresh CBI Manager for two Decades

NEW DELHI: The Union Authorities on Tuesday appointed 1985 batch IPS Subodh Kumar Jaiswal since the CBI Manager for a period of 2 Decades.

The high profile committee, consisting of PM Narendra Modi, CJI N V Ramana and Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, to Choose the CBI manager organised three IPS officers — V S K Kaumudi, Subodh Jaiswal and Kumar Rajesh Chandra — to the best post. A 1985-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Maharashtra cadre, Jaiswal is now the director general of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Jaiswal was appointed as the manager, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a span of 2 decades, the ministry dictate stated. He’s also functioned as Maharashtra’s director general of police before.
