The West Bengal Education Department is ready to launch a new initiative – ‘Paray Sikshalay’ – where the primary and pre-major students of the state managed schools will be given lessons in the open space, a word official on Sunday.
The project, after receiving the approval of the State Secretariat ‘Nabanna’, will get along with elementary school teachers and teachers to provide basic education to grade 1 to 5 students.
“Children have long lost tutorial lessons due to limiting induction of Covid-19 pandemic.
We have now decided to hold a class on open land,” he said.
In addition to basic education, students will be encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as elocution and painting, officially more.
