Govt nodded to offline classes for secondary school students

Ranchi: The State Government Friday is allowed by schools, colleges and universities to reopline offline teaching for senior classes and also allow offline checks on competitive exams conducted by the state and the center.
The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA), who met under the Chairperson of the Minister of Hemant Soren at Jharkhand Mantalaya (project development) at night, also tweaked in the weekend locking clause.
“All shops will be left open until 8pm.
The restaurant and bar can still be open until 10pm.
Between 8 nights on Saturday and 6 am on Monday, all shops will remain closed except vegetable and fruit sellers, grocery stores, restaurants , Bars, companies that sell food and drinks and important items, “said the government in a statement.
SDMA also allows public bus services between countries and allows private and government offices to continue their business with 100% of their employees.
The cinema room, bar, multiplex, and restaurants are allowed to reopen the business with a 50% seating capacity.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Soren said relaxation was given after considering the current Covid-19 scenario in the state.

I urge all state residents to remain vigilant, wear masks when exploring in public and remain socially far,” said Soren.
