Bhubaneswar: The Ministry of Higher Education will bring three new changes in the process of entering the Post Postgraduate Course (PG) this year.
The receipt process is likely to be carried out in August and September.
Last year, for the first time the reception of PG in all state public universities under the Department of Higher Education was carried out through the general entrance test (CPET).
Students must physically visit their respective colleges and universities to obtain a lecture certificate (CLC) or certificate to leave the University (ULCs) manually for PG receipts.
But this year, it will be automatically generated in the portal of the Student Academic Management System (SAMS), the official source said.
By 2020, there is no cut-off sign system for student reference before entering any university.
But this time, the department will publish the cut-off sign on the Sams portal, which is used for receipt purposes.
Students can go through a cut-off sign and choose their institution after the insults of their entry score and the level of scholar (UG), the official source said.
The third change is about the cost of receipt.
This year, students will pay online entrance fees not like last year.
“We have planned to have a minimum receipt that will be decided,” the official said.
The department’s source said the CPET might be done in August or September.
“We have reviewed the situation before conducting an incoming check Enter, “said a high education department official.
Last year, the Merit list was released for 52,780 candidates on CPET-2020.
Examination was carried out between October 12 and October 22, 2020, in 28 examination centers.
The department tends to increase the number of examination centers this year.
The department on Monday informed that the last semester / year exam from UG and PG courses will be carried out in July-August through online mode.
