New Delhi: All government and private schools from class 9-12, colleges, universities and training institutions in Delhi will be reopened since September 1, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Friday.
He said the decision about opening a school for the lower classes would be taken after analyzing the effect of reopening the school for the senior class.
Sisodia said that parents’ permits will be needed for students to go to school.
No students will be forced to go to school.
The problem of reopening the schools in Delhi were previously discussed at the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) meeting which was attended by the Governor of LT Anil Baijal, Chair of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal and Sisodia.
