Jaipur: The state government has launched the Rajasthan (RGHS) government health scheme for its employees with the effects of July 1 on the lines of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).
Under the scheme, the appointed employees after January 1, 2004 will get treatment without cash until Rs 10 Lakh.
In all 13 families of Lakh beneficiaries will be provided with indoor, outdoor and cashless medical facilities for tests in all government hospitals, approved private hospitals and private test centers.
Employees and retirees were appointed before January 1, 2004, will get unlimited outside facilities.
The IPD treatment facility without cash up to RS 5 Lakh for designated employees after January 1, 2004, additional medical facilities to RS 5 Lakh for critical illness and outdoor medical facilities to an annual limit of RS 20,000 have been provided.
The current employees only receive IPD facilities within the insured amount to RS 3 Lakh have the option to take advantage of this facility for free under the RGHS.
About 5.30 the Lakh family has been registered on the RGHS portal, including work officials and retired justice and all Indian services, state-state and retired retired employees before and after January 1, 2004, and autonomous organizations, five electricity companies, RISL, RSMM and Jaipur Metro.
In the first phase, the cashless facility of IPD and day care will be given to registered beneficiaries.
The minister’s chairman has also agreed to pay the total financial burden of Rs 793 Crore every year at the level of Rs 6,100 per family of beneficiaries to provide medical facilities without cash to around 13 families of the lakh.
Employees who want to choose an IPD treatment facility without cash up to RS 5 Lakh and additional medical facilities to RS 5 Lakh for critical illnesses and outdoor medical facilities up to RS 20,000, will be eligible for contributions at the specified RPMF level.
Only 50% contributions will be deducted from salary.
