Lucknow: The state government will begin payment of cultural benefits (DA) to government employees at a 28% level with the effect of July 1, 2021 the decision to increase the level of DA from 17% to 28%, in line with the decision, announced on July 28.

Those who retire before the decision announced or those who will retire in the next six months, will be paid for cash.
This step will benefit around 16 employees of the Lakh government and 12 lakh a retirees, who have received DA at 17% since January 2020.
