New Delhi: Trade and Minister of Industry Piyush is shaken, which will also handle the Ministry of Textile, set to start work on his new portfolio with consultation in textile hubs throughout the country.
On Saturday, Goyal would meet with industrial representatives in Mumbai to get the first understanding of the problems and challenges facing it, before he held a similar consultation in a letter, Ahmedabad and Coimbatore.
The Minister has met his service colleagues on Thursday and identified priority areas with the topping of the work generation which remembered that it was a labor intensive sector.
“The government will try to provide great support for the income of all people employed in this sector, especially women,” he said.
The Minister believes that textiles have important relationships with trade and industry and on charges of two ministries he believes he can take advantage of the synergy offered, Something that PM Narendra Modi also tries to focus when aligning a portfolio.
Since last year, trade and industry have worked with the Ministry of Textile to develop a plan to increase domestic production and export with textiles which are among the 24 sectors identified for priority measures.
From this, the incentive scheme associated with production has been announced for 13 sectors, with nearly Rs 2 Lakh Crore spent for the next five years.
