Ludhiana: In the case of reconnaissance on the state tax department official by installing a GPS device in their vehicle, Dugri police on Tuesday booked unknown people under 420 and 120-B from IPC.
On November 11, the Mobile Wing Ludhiana from the State Tax Department has filed a complaint to the police, accusing their vehicle tapped with a GPS device.
This device is most likely to be repaired by several transporter and gang members involved in tax evasion by facilitating the right cellphone without paper movement.
Balbir Singh ASI, investigation officer in this case, said, “We have registered FIR.
Nine GPS trackers found in four vehicles.
It was investigated in whom the SIM card name used in this device was issued and where the GPS device was accessed.” Complaints Randir Singh , State Tax Officer, where FIR is registered, said, “Tax removal tapped our vehicle.
They knew beforehand about our movements and they then hid the vehicle loaded.”
