GPS tracker in more than 2,000 ambulances in Rajasthan

Jaipur: Two months ago, the state transportation department had issued orders to fit the ambulance with GPS and since then, around 2,500 vehicles have been activated with a system, which is around 70% of the total ambulance in Rajasthan.
While post-2019, public transport vehicles regarding the road with the right GPS tracker, this order makes it mandatory for an ambulance that is older than three years.
Commissioner of Transportation Mahendra Soni, who initiated this step, “The aim is to ensure that people who use this emergency vehicle are always safe.
