Greater Noida: Even when the police were busy in security settings on the occasion of Diwali, at least three armed thieves that were shown I20 entered the cellular showroom in Greater Noida and stole around 600 new phones from various companies stored on shelves and showroom drawers along with around RS 6 Lakh cash from in a cash counter.
The incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m.
on Friday when the thieves sat in the I20 arrived at the Noor Communication Showroom in the Saifi market in Surajpur Greater Noida area and allegedly cut six keys and channels installed to join the shutter.
Professional possibilities, the defendant allegedly revoked the DVR from CCTV settings before escaping from the place.
At least some defendants who dropped from the I20 and arranged the theft was captured on a CCTV camera installed in several other buildings around the showroom.
In one of CCTV footage, at least three defendants can be seen arriving in the lane a few meters away from showrooms a few minutes after the police patrol vehicle left the place.
The defendant can be seen accelerating the hole that makes the owner of the showroom suspect that they might be famous for the area.
“They just arrived there a minute after the Van Patrol police left.
They stopped at a certain distance and two people had caught the camera to do all the movements.
One of them was talking on the phone while others could look moving with a bag,” said Imran’s younger brother.

Irfan said that while the presence of three suspects was clear, they suspected that there might be more than four people involved in theft.
“They have taken around 600 Samsung phones, Redmi, One Plus, Vivo, Techno, Oppo, Redmi, Realme, Intel, etc.
They even take items from inside the drawer.
It seems impossible to escape with so much in one vehicle , “he said.
Imran said that the defendant opened a cash counter and spent the cash 6 lakh cash stored in it.
“Overall, I have suffered a loss around Rs 2.5 Crore,” he said.
There were eight cameras installed inside and outside the showroom but the defendant just flee with the DVR.
The police suspected the insider’s handhashter, the theft information was reported to the police, the forensic team reached the place and took a damaged key.
The police suspected the role of inside in the incident and had resisted around four-five young people including showers showing off.
DCP (middle noida) Harish Chander said that the way the crime is set, it seems difficult to execute the same.
“We have asked the owner to give the right amount of missing items.
Thieves seem to be aware of the area and place,” he said.
Police Surajpur has submitted FIR in this case under the part 379 IPC (theft).
