Greater Noida: Green belt spread across Greater Noida will soon be given a serial number.
The decision to set unique numbers and identities with green belts is taken to improve their maintenance and monitor the quality of horticultural work.
While the population has continued their complaints related to the green belt along with the names of the nearest landmarks, a lot of confusion that applies because more than one green belt has been developed near a busy intersection.
It described this, an official Gnida explained that various green belts in the Alfa sector will be given the alpha GB 1 number, Alpha GB 2 and so on.
The green belt in the beta and ecotech sectors will have the same number to avoid confusion.
The official added that in such a scenario, it would be easier to identify green belts.
“We will also recognize the maintenance period of the contractor assigned to maintenance of green belts and parks in the sector,” he said.
Citizens who have complaints related to garden maintenance and green belts can reach authority on these numbers – 0120 – 2336046/47/48 – or send their complaints on the authority cellular application.
WhatsApp numbers (8800203912) have also continued to improve population complaints.
