Mogadishu: A large explosion was reported outside the international airport in the capital of Somalia on Wednesday and emergency respondents said there was death and injury.
The founder of Aamin ambulance service, Abdulkadir Adan, tweeted that he was “very sad to lose life and injury” in Mogadishu.
He posted a photo from a crushed vehicle.
Not immediately clear how many people die or targeted.
The Somalia National News Office reported “not specified victims.” The Al-Shabab extremist group associated with Al-Qaeda which controls some Somalia often conducts bombings at the high profile location in the capital.
