GREATER NOIDA: Nguyen Thi Sau (Tam Naghiem), a Vietnamese Buddhist monk who analyzed in Gautam Budh University (GBU) at 2013, has given two inverters to run the oxygen concentrators found at Jahangirpur main gym.
Nyuyen is currently examining in USA in Huyen Trang Temple (Monastery) New Caney, Texas and’d this past year helped out with participation in food supply at the district throughout Covid pandemic.
“Because, Nguyen Thi Sau had invested a great time at India while following her MA in Delhi University and after registered to pursue her PhD in Buddhist Studies from Gautam Buddha University at 2013, she wished to do some thing for Indians who had been going through a difficult time because of Covid pandemic.
She contacted me and expressed her desire to donate a certain amount to the well-being of all Covid sufferers at India,” explained Dr Arvind Kumar Singh, that educated her Budhist research in GBU.
Dr Singh consequently contacted Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh who had been currently sourcing help to ramp-up neighborhood community health centers (CHCs) and primary health centers (PHCs) together with medical equipment, medications and essential infrastructure.
About Jewar MLA’s proposal, Nguyen Thi Sau financed two inverters that helped organize electricity backup in the Jahangirpur PHC at Jewar to ensure oxygen concentrators installed could operate without disturbance.
“She paid the cash straight to the seller for which I helped,” explained Dr Singh that adds that year, through the outbreak of this Covid pandemic,” Nguyen Thi Sau had assisted donate from the food supply process into the migrants from the area.
Dr Singh who’s also the public relations officer of GBU told TOI the Tam Naghiem had been his student at Delhi University.
She also did her MA in Buddhist Studies through 2010-2012.
Afterwards when he combined GBU he followed him.
“I combined GBU at November 2011.
After finishing her MA at 2012 she followed to GBU and obtained entry at the PhD program in Buddhist Studies.
She remained here from July 2012 until December 2012 and abandoned for the US at 2013 on the recommendation of her Dhamma Master to look after Vietnamese Monastery around there and chase her higher studies in the usa.
Since then she’s been there, however, constantly touch base with me personally also has issues with the subject,” said Dr Singh.
“She expressed her joy in being in a position to help out at a small way because of her deep psychological relation to the area and the nation,” said Dr Singh.
