Greater Noida: A 28-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the alleged death of his wife who had jumped from the 8th floor of the building in a high-rise community in Greater Noida.
The suspect has been identified as Dev Sharan Sharma, a resident of Supertech Eco Village in Bibrakh.
“We received a call around 8:30 a.m.
on Sunday about someone lying in a pool of blood at the public place.
A police team rushed to that place and the woman was taken to the hospital, where the doctors stated she was taken dead,” said Anita Chauhan , Sho, police station Bibrakh.
Initially, during the investigation, it was revealed that the woman had a fight for a dowry with her husband before taking extreme steps.
After the incident, the female family filed a complaint against Sharma who accused death.
