Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (Gnida) has requested private agents to develop applications that will have all data related to the availability of workers in the city.
At present, workers gather in Delta 1 and 2 sectors and Nat Ki Madhaiya, where they are employed for various jobs through contractors.
When the application is developed, residents, and Gnida, can employ workers directly through it.
Not only the name of the workers, the application will have other details such as age, address, aadhaar number, skills and even the amount to be paid for by the customer.
And like the application of several taxi aggregators, every worker will have a rating based on their performance.
Officials say employers through applications will not only improve their performance, but also get rid of the practice of bargaining for hourly rates.
The cost and application name have not been decided, but officials say it will be borne by agency, aadharshila.
This body is likely to make a presentation before the Gnida team within a week.
CEO of Gnida Narendra Bhooshan has given the principle approval for application development.
The final NOD will depend on the presentation of the agency.
