GREATER NOIDA: After an industrial plot scheme last month, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has now floated an IT-ITES and data centre plot scheme to bring in investments for the region.
While the plots range from 4.96 to 28 acres, about 100 acres of land will be allotted under the scheme across sectors Ecotech-1 Extension-1, Knowledge Park-5 and Techzone-2.
Total revenue expectations from the scheme include Rs 700 crore, with job opportunities for 5,000 people, officials said.
Online applications for the scheme can be made on niveshmitra.up.nic.in till June 30 and allotment will commence from July next month.
Narendra Bhooshan, CEO of GNIDA, said, “We have resumed our primary focus on development projects for Greater Noida now that the number of Covid cases have come down.
After the industrial plot scheme, we have come up with a scheme to promote IT-ITES and data centre-related companies in the region, which will help bring in job opportunities for the youth of the region.” While applicants can apply through two options of fast-track direct allotment process and through online process of nivesh mitra.
A minimum of Rs 7 crore per acre investment is must to qualify for the allotment.
