Greater Noida: Three police officers have been suspended for allegedly squeezing couples who have booked hotels near Pari Chowk and extorted Rs 50,000 from the property owner after holding it in local police posts for several hours.
A team led by Akhilesh Dixit, is responsible for the Pari Chowk Police Station, has been looking for a hotel on Tuesday, when Prime Minister visited Aligarh.
The young couple was found in one of the rooms.
The young man was allegedly beaten by the police and taken to the police station with his friend.
The hotel owner was dragged to Chowki too.
Constable Head of Rajendra Singh and Constable Sachin Baliyan and Ankit Kumar are thought to ask a partner to pay each RS 10,000 if they do not want action against them.
Their family members were called to the police station and both were released because the money was paid.
“The police then turned to me and demanded Rs 1 Lakh.
Dixit, Chowki is responsible, leaving after this,” the owner said in a video that was widely circulated on social media.
After recurring requests, the police allegedly reduced their request to Rs 50,000.
The hotel owner allegedly paid Rs 30,000 to the police and put into locking after he begged the inability to cough the number left.
Around 1 in the morning, he claimed, he was made to call his brother, who arrived at Chowki and paid the remaining Rs 20,000.
“I asked the police to let me go, but they would not listen.
When I gave my relative reference, they beat me.
I was left after paying Rs 50,000.

I have all the evidence against them , “he said, adding that he received a late night’s call from one of the police looking for reconciliation.
The three police officers were suspended after another video – shot by a hotel owner’s friend who accompanied him to Chowki – uploaded on social media.
In this video, Rajendra said to tell the hotel owner, “You are the largest culprit sitting with his eyes wide open.
When someone comes, everything must be checked.

Three police officers were found guilty and suspended.
“They were taken to Chowki police because this hotel ran without registration.
