Green Corridor made in twin cities to bring patient SCB to the airport

Bhubaneswar: Komisionce police on Saturday created a green corridor for severe painful elderly patients from Medical College SCB hospitals in the Cuttack to Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here for subtle movements.
Patients, Indramani Pani, are Mr.
Banchhanidhi Pani, Odia IAS Officer and Commissioner of Municipal Corporation.
Need an ambulance is only 27 minutes to reach the airport.
Then the patient was flown by air ambulance for a letter in Gujarat for further treatment.
He was treated in the SCB Medical College and hospital medicine ward for the past few days.
According to the plan, the ambulance brought critically patients to leave the hospital at 9.48 in the morning on Saturday.
Traffic wing vehicles drive ambulances until they reach the airport.
Pilot vehicles ensure that the route is clear for a hassle-free ambulance movement.
Bhubaneswar ACP Traffic Swastik Panda said they took the shortest route for ambulance movements.
“We bring an ambulance to the airport through Hanspal, Vani Vihar, Acharya Vihar, Jaydev Vihar at National Highway 16, Kalinga Stadium, 120 Infantry Battalion, Rabindra Mandap Square, AG Square and Capital Hospital Square,” he added.
Panda said the ambulance reached the airport at 10:15 a.m.
“Because the green corridor made for an ambulance, it only takes 27 minutes.
During rush hour, someone from Cuttack takes an hour to reach the city airport,” he added.
Source said Police Commissioner of Twin City has created around 11 green corridors for ambulance-free movements that bring critical patients.
On December 11 last year, he has created a green corridor for Patra Badrinlayaran, former Minister and Sitting MLA from the Ghasipura Constituency in Keonjhar Regency, from a private hospital here to the airport.
He was flown to Hyderabad for further care.
