Panjim: The Goa-based Oceanography National Institute (NIO) has formed a green shellfish cultural demonstration on a floating raft in Verem, in the synergy of the superior program, Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Swayampurna Goa.
The green scallop culture demonstration was inaugurated recently, by the Secretary’s head, Parimal Rai in front of the Director of Nio Sunil Kumar Singh, and other scientists.
Skills training programs tend to increase employment paths for coastal rural stakeholders, especially for residents of Reis-Maga.
In line with the Government of the Indian mission program on ‘skilled India’, the Scientific and Industrial Research Council (CSIR) under the Scientific and Industrial Research Department has implemented the ‘CSIR Integrated Will Initiative’ program.
Technology demonstrations are organized to support this effort.
Interactive sessions with stakeholders will be held about various skills training programs conducted by Nio.
