Amaravati: The country has pocketed a large ticket infrastructure project because the center has gave a green signal for the development of the Greenfield toll road between Bengaluru-Vijayawada through Pulivedula, which is the city of Marine Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The center, which initially wanted to launch works under Bharatmala Phase-II in 2023, has now agreed to start work during the current fiscal.
The prestigious road infrastructure project has been removed after a special request made by the minister’s chairman.
The Proposed Greenfield Expressway Department is expected to reduce travel time more than three hours because around 65 percent of the route will be a four-laned highway.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is preparing a detailed project report (DPR).
The source said the state government had cleared route maps after studying alternative routes to increase connectivity between the two cities.
According to the plan approved by the state government, the four-lajur toll road will be built for around 360 km from a total of 570 km.
The project was cleaned after the request of CM to the remaining Union 110km Minister will be borne by connecting the new toll road with the existing national highway.
This step will not only reduce travel time but also save great costs on Extequer.

The highway can be associated with the Paving Chennai-Kolkata NH-65 which is available for better connectivity for all coastal districts from Srikakulam to Nellore with Bengaluru.
