The history of state-box boxes has left multi-layer sites in several villages and former capitals – caves, tunnels, monuments, and ruins.
“The state has prepared an environmental management plan for turtles, mangroves, dunes, but there are no plans for the inheritance management built,” Goa Heritage Action Group (GHAG) and Charles Correia Foundation stated in submission to the government.
Goa has a total of 422 legacy sites that are legally informed, including 75 protected by the state and central government.
“But only 13 sites found mention in the report, and only 12 were marked on the map,” said the inheritance group.
Some sites are very important, because they shape the history of the region.

“Furthermore, at least four more need to be displayed, including Largo St.
Cajetan, St.
Peter Church, Bainguinium and Casa de Polvora, Panaturum,” said Cabral.
Chicalim, a village awaiting the tag of ‘Heritage Village’, boasts a layered history with natural assets and man-made.
