Lucknow: While everyday cases continue to decline and the amount of recovery remains high, three state districts – Sravasti, KasGanj and Aligarh – become free of Coronavirus infection.
Additional Chief Secretary Navneet Sehgal said that the calculation for three districts now stands at zero.
“While all active cases have recovered, there are no everyday cases that appear in districts which are encouraging trends,” he said.
Sehgal added that the Chair of the Yogi Adityanath Minister said that the district where no new cases identified for seven days will be appreciated.
“This step aims to ensure that the district does not relax in any way,” he explained.
Meanwhile, ACS, health and family welfare, Amit Mohan Prasad told reporters that 112 new cases and 258 recovery were reported in the last 24 hours.
He said that only Varanasi made a double digit entry, while more than 40 districts saw zero cases.
He also said that the country was allowed with 1,789 active cases of more than 1,300 under house isolation.
Bulletin shows that 50 districts are left with 20 or lack of active cases.
Lucknow still has a house for the highest number of active cases with Entries149.
The official bulletin revealed that 10 people lost their lives on the Pandemic virus in the last 24 hours, with the total number of victims to 22,676.
