Billings (US): Grizzly Bear attacked and killed someone riding a bicycle on Tuesday morning in West Montana, according to a spokesman for the wildlife animal.
The attack took place between 4am and 5 in the Ovando area, a city of less than 100 people around 60 miles (97 kilometers) northwest of Helena, said Greg Lemon with wildlife and montana fish park.
A law enforcement team and wildlife specialist has gathered to track bears, he said.
The identity of the victim was not immediately released and the next situation around the attack was being investigated.
“Our first concern is the welfare of the community.
The next step is to find a bear,” Lemon said.

In April, the backcountry guide was killed by Grizzly Bear while fishing along the Yellowstone National Park border in Southwest Montana.
Ovando is on the south edge of the large expanse of wilderness which stretches to the Canadian border and is at home for an estimated 1,000 bears _ The biggest concentration of Bruins in the US adjacent in the area includes Glacier National Park.
In 2016, a law enforcement officer of the alleged US forest who was not in charge was fatally in the region after he collided with Grizzly while mountain biking in the Flathead National Forest.
Grizzly bears involved in the attack on humans were killed if they were considered a threat of sustainable public safety.
But bears involved in non-fatal attacks are often avoided in surprise meeting cases or if they protect their child.
