Mumbai: One of the biggest mandal mumbai ganeshotsav, GSB Wadla, will celebrate the festival for only one day on September 10, not 11 full days this year due to pandemic constraints.
Darshan Public is not permitted and Prasad will not be distributed.
The ritual will be broadcast online instead, said Mukund Kamat, Secretary GSB Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal.
GSB Wadala has canceled the celebration last year after a pandemic and vice versa chose to celebrate Maghi Ganpati in February 2021.
“Because the situation of a sustainable pandemic and third wave threat towering, we will limit the celebration of one day.
According to Government Guidelines, Darshan Public will not be permitted .
Pujas will be limited to only one ganahoma.
We will not have the Prasad distribution or ‘Anna Santarpana’.
Some people will be permitted in a place to help worship.
All precautions such as sanititis and social blasphemy norms will be followed.
We will have a television Direct ganahoma, afternoon and night aarti, “said Chairman of Rajan Bhat.
