AHMEDABAD: Hours following the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) announced the dates for Class 12 board exams in July, the state government said that it will reevaluate the choice.
The state administration’s announcement came in the aftermath of the central administration’s decision on Tuesday to cancel the Class 12 board examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The decision had been taken at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“We will have a meeting on Wednesday to check in the decision chosen for your CBSE before arriving in the last decision on holding board examinations for your GSHSEB,” explained Gujarat schooling ministry Bhupendrasinh Chudasama.

The GSHSEB on Tuesday day had declared the board examination dates for Class 12, and also for Class 10 repeaters and external students.
But on Wednesday, the state authorities will think about the choice of carrying out the board examinations, said resources in the state authorities.
The GSHSEB assessments will be held from July 1 to July 16, the state education board had stated earlier in a declaration.
The examinations were designed to be held at the pen-and-paper arrangement for 6.83 lakh Course 12 pupils and approximately 3.5 lakh Course 10 repeaters and external students.
According to the period , the board tests for Class 12 had been to start with the math newspaper on July 1.
The science test was divided to two or three parts.
Part 1 would be to own MCQs and Section 2 was the writing department.
Last month, the Gujarat government had stated it is going to maintain Class 12 board examinations in July at the larger interest of their pupils.
“There appears to be a deficiency of co-ordination involving the country and the central authorities,” stated an education specialist.
“This might be observed if the CBSE declared the cancellation of Class 10 examinations even since the state authorities maintained dilly-dallying for quite a while before eventually cancelling them for its GSHSEB pupils also.” However, the expert stated, the conclusion was just for Class 10 normal pupils.
