New Delhi: countdown for the launch of the Geosynchronous satellite launch vehicle, the F10 EOS-03 mission starts on Wednesday morning, tells the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
In a tweet, the ISRO writes, “countdown for the launch of the GSLV-F10 / EOS-03 mission began today at 0343 hours (IST) from Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC) Shar, Sriharikota.” The Geosynchronous-F10 satellite launch vehicle (GSLV-F10) will launch the Earth Observation Satellite, EOS-03 from the second launch of Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC) Shar, Sriharikota.
This launch was scheduled tentatively at 0543 hours on 12 August 2021, subject to weather conditions, notifying an official statement by ISRO.
EOS-03 is a sophisticated Earth Earth Observation Satellite that will be placed in geosinkron transfer orbit by GSLV-F10.
Furthermore, the satellite will reach the final geostation orbit using an onboard propulsion system.
The prefix of the Ogtive-shaped 4 meter diameter was flown for the first time in this GSLV flight.
This is the fourteenth of GSLV flights.
