From RS 319 Crore GST collected, RS 100 Crore has directly headed to the US state of SGST.
“The reason for the increase is a business has begun to take.
The hospitality sector has been opened plus the department has begun law enforcement activities.
We have started checking e-way bills,” said the Sarita Gadgil additional GST commissioner.
Hospitality is the biggest contributor to the GST Cave collection.
Data also shows that GST collection has shown an increase in the month of the month.
The total income of GST Goa in August reached RS 285 Crore.
“If someone is only seen in SGST, there is a growth of 33% compared to last September, but someone must remember that last year really dropped because of Covid-19 and the base was low.
If you see SGST and IGST together, there is an increase of 60% this September, this September “Gadgil said.
Nationally, GST revenues for September 23% higher than GST revenue in the same month last year.
With GST income increases, the center expects a positive trend to continue and the second half of the year will post higher income.
