Sushant Singh Rajput’s Flatmate Siddharth Pithani has moved to court seeking guarantees for the second time.
When Etimes contacted NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede about this development, he said, “We will submit a reply to the bail application, opposing his guarantee”.
The court has rejected the previous Pithani Guarantee application but gave him permission for his marriage, scheduled for June 25.
He handed himself before the court on July 2 and since it was in detention of the Narcotics Control Bureau.
Pithani was traced by the NCB by its social media post and arrested from Hyderabad on May 28 for alleged relationship in the case of Narcotics Sush Singh Rajput.
He was the first person to find an actor hanging in his room on June 14 last year.
Pithani is a person who has lowered the SSR’s body even before the family members arrived at the actor’s residence.
Sushant Rhea’s friend, his brother Showik, and other staff members including Samuel Miranda and Deugesh Sawant were arrested by NCB.
Other housemates of Keshav and Neeraj, who were recently questioned by NCB, has signaled Pithani’s role in drug cases.
SSR died on June 14 last year and further investigation by police and other institutions had been going on for more than a year.
There are still many speculations around his death, with the Sushant family pursuing many cases in court.
