Noida: A security guard employed with a closed factory in the Sector 8 allegedly beat his wife with a stick and then strangled him by hand on Tuesday night.
The police said guards, Subhash (37), who came from Pattiya Village, Farrukkhabad, had lived in factories with his wife Babi and three daughters.
The couple had been married for 18 years and their youngest daughter was around three years old.
Babi Mahendra’s troops accused that the relationship between the couple was tense because of the habit of drinking Subhash.
“My daughter and her husband have lived in Noida for the past 10 years.
Subhash will often beat my daughter.
The oldest daughter of the couple will move away from them because they often fight,” he added.
Fed up with alleged torture, Mahendra had taken Babi home a few months ago.
“A month and half back, Subhash’s father called us and convinced his son won’t beat my daughter again.
We trust him and let Babi back to Noida.
On July 6, we received a call from neighboring Subhash, who told us that Babi had been killed , “Mahendra said.
He claimed that Subhash had asked his daughter to tell the people that their mother had consumed poisons.
Subhash was arrested and charged with murder.
Munish Chauhan, Police Station Sho of Sector 20, said the FIR was nesting against Subhash after the autopsy report came on July 7.
He was arrested the following day.
