Mumbai: A trader from Ahmedabad in Gujarat has filed a complaint with the Crime Branch of Mumbai and the cyber police accused that he had been cheated by RS 3 Lakh by the businessman of Raj Kundra with the pretext of making him a distributor for online cricket skills-based matches, said an official on Monday.
He said the police verified complaints and would decide accordingly to register fir.
In the complaint filed online, the Reporters Hiren Parmar accused that he was promised by Vian Industries that he would be made distributor for “Game of Dot”.
However, the company did not keep the promise, followed what he asked for the return of the 3 lakh RS which he had invested, but did not receive a response, the official said.
The complainant claimed that he had submitted a complaint with the Cyber Gujarat department in 2019, but there was no action taken, the official said, adding Parmar to close to Mumbai police after Kundra was arrested for allegedly running a mobile application to distribute adult films.
Parmar also accused many cheating people because of the company, the official said.
