Thane: Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has urged residents to celebrate the Navratri Navati Festival nine days by ‘simple’ as a coronavirus pandemic.
The festival starts from October 7 and will rise until October 15.
Commissioner TMC Dr.
Vipin Sharma told toi, “We have pushed all the mandals to arrange Darshan online.
Darshan’s physical is not completely prohibited, but we ask people to avoid as much as possible.” This will be mandatory for the mandal to regulate the pandal and to take previous online permits from Thane Municipal Corporation for Community Navratri celebrations.
In Pandal, only five people can be allowed to physically Darshan at certain times, circular countries.
This guideline added that when organizing Aarti, Bhajan, Kirtan or other religious programs, sufficient care must be taken to avoid the crowd and not violate the terms of the resting order that applies according to SOP of Covid-19.
No more than ten workers or worshipers must be present at the Mandap during Aarti Dewi, and those who attend must be strictly following the rules regarding masks and social blasphemy, state.
TMC appealed to the organization to hold a blood donor camp or create public awareness of the disease transmitted through vectors such as malaria and dengue fever, instead of organizing Garba events.
Further guidelines stated that Goddess idols should not be more than 4 feet for public circles and as high as 2 feet for domestic idols.
