One factory will appear in South India and the second in North or East India.
“Demand for much higher electric vehicles and customers are waiting for more products that meet their specific needs.
At present, there are not many product offerings in the EV segment.
So, we will see the increasing demand and many products launched in the next few years,” said Mohal Lalbhai, founder and CEO, material, which will also launch several other products.
“The potential for the two electric wheels is very high and the acceptance of the people grows.
Growth in the electric two-wheeled wheels at least 50-70% at 2020-21,” said Nemin Vora, CEO, Odysse Electric Vehicle Pvt Ltd, which started the factory Other in Mumbai with a capacity of producing 36,000 units per year.

“There is no PLI scheme (incentives related to production) for startups, which is a stumbling block for newcomers.
As a result, it is very important that the government makes the scheme more inclusive to startup and offer sufficient incentives to develop and meet the demand of the developing sector,” added Lalbhai.
