Gandhinagar: In modification marked with the existing Covid-19 guidelines, the state government on Thursday decided to allow 300 guests to attend a wedding in the open plot, not the limit of 150 people.
Revised guidelines will take effect since Friday.
The core committee also decided to extend the night hours – starting at 10pm to 6 in the morning – in eight major cities and 19 cities, until February 11.
On January 11, in the midst of a surge in Covid-19 cases, the state government, the number of guests at marriage and social function, education, religion and politics at 150.
Before January 11, 400 people were allowed to attend this meeting.
The CM Core Core Committee decided that if such a meeting was held in a closed place, the maximum number of people permitted will be 150.
There were no other changes made for COVD-19 guidelines.
Hotels and restaurants can delivery houses all the time as before.
Other guidelines in connection with commercial companies, public transportation, parks and gardens, educational institutions and the like remain unchanged, said government liberation.
Meanwhile, the state government is expected to decide whether to continue in-wear school for grade 1 to 9 students on March 5.
