Ahmedabad: In a Covid-19 pandemic, mass promotion for SSC students see nearly 100 students given as many as 198 marks that unprecedented magic! The results of the Class X board were stated on Tuesday night.
To place this number in perspective, students need 33 marks on each six subjects to remove the SSC board.

Gujarat and High Central Education Board officials (GSHSEB) said that in the past, a total of 24 signs of grace had been allocated to students.

“Providing 198 Grace Marks means students do not print one sign on the 9th and class 10 unit exams.

Board officials said that nearly 45,000 students were given signs of grace between 60 and 100 signs while 1.6 lakh students were given to 60 gifts.
“Overall, some 2.5-3 lakh students are marked of signs of grace to promote them,” the official said.
