Ahmedabad: Gujarat and Tinggi Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Saturday declared results for 12th grade general stream students where around 4,00,127 regular students have passed.
The State Council exam for class 12 was canceled due to the increasing case of Covid-19 throughout the country.
Even when the council announced a 100% result because of the mass promotion this year, there was a decrease in the number of students who had scored more than 90%.
Compared to 11,504 students who scored more than 90% last year, this year the number was 10,146, a decrease of 1,358 students.
The number of students passing with Grade A-1 – the highest in the ranking category – has increased to 691, with 169 more students passing in this category compared to last year.
For class A-2, there was a decline of 1,527 compared to last year, as 9,455 students managed to reach this list.
Last year, the results of class 12 (general flow) were 76.29%.
This year, the results were prepared based on the 12th grade evaluation criteria decided by GSHSEB.
According to the criteria, the Board has adopted a marking formula 25:25:50 for grade 12 students.
The fifty percent molding is for grade 10, 25% for grade 11 value and 25% for the first and second unit test 12.
About 1,29,781 received by C-1 class followed by the C-2 grade where 1.08.299 registered students.
Little number of students or 28 gets an E-2 value is considered as the lowest in rank.
The results are stated by the board on the website in the morning.
