Ahmedabad: Government Gujarat continues to receive more applications for compensation for Covid-19 death.
In a written statement delivered before the Supreme Court, the state has recognized the receipt of 1.02.230 claims until Thursday for compensation for the death of their relatives because Covid-19 against 10,579 deaths officially caused by a formal pandemic.
The state government has told the Supreme Court about 10 times more claims of deaths that have been received for RS 50,000 EX Gratia.
The APEX court is scheduled to hear cases on Covid’s death compensation issues on Friday.
In his compliance report, Gujarat has stated that they have received more than one claims of Lakh’s death and from them, he has given sanctions 87,045 claims.
This has made payments to 82,605 prosecutors to date.
Government authorities have also rejected 8,994 applications.
There are more than 6,000 applications under supervision.
The state government has also notified SC that there are 5,867 children who have become orphans in this pandemic, and have paid compensation in 3,287 cases.
Gujarat has witnessed the highest difference between the mortality rate which has been reported by the state government, 10 times.
Telangana has received almost eight times the claim of death than the deaths reported in this pandemic – 31,053 of these claims to the 3,993 deaths reported.
Telangana has approved 22,873 claims and paid the amount of compensation at 16,962 cases.
The Gujarat government was carried out to provide a broad publicity in the compensation scheme by the APEX court, the first interesting to introduce the supervision mechanism to process death claims.
