Ahmedabad: The State Education Department has directed elementary school to run in the morning and bring online education sessions in this period.
Director of Basic Education issued a circular in this on Friday, said sources in the department.
The decision came after a group of elementary school teachers recently made representation to the state government, trying to allow schools to function only in the morning shift, according to sources.
The school was closed because Covid-19 for education and teachers on the campus held an online education for a new academic year which began on June 7, the New State Master Association recently written to the Director of Basic Education in this matter.
After a long hiatus of about nine months, the government has begun to open schools to study on campus in January in staggering ways but must immediately close them and switch to online education after a surge in the number of Covid -19 cases.
“The teacher has faced a problem because many schools run in the morning shift and afternoon shift.
It’s easier for students to attend online classes in the morning with both parents today,” said Association members.
