GUJ failed to restore the school to neglect the cost of a girl

Ahmedabad: While the announcement and publicity for Kanya Kelavani Nidhi (daughter education funds) has been almost everywhere, the Gujarat Education Department has failed to pay 1,600 grant school fees for female students for two years now.
More surprisingly, the sources in the Ministry of Education said that for the financial year 2020-21, the Ministry of Education did not send proposals to this fund to the Ministry of Finance.
The Grant-in-Aid school receives staff salaries from the country and grants to fulfill parts of their expenses.
The rest is filled with costs from students, the number also determined by the state government.
In April 2019, the Gujarat government decided to provide free school education to a higher secondary level to state girls and promised to pay a fee on behalf of the girls registered at the grant school.
These schools told to stop collecting costs from their female students, and supply details of registration and costs for the government to replace money, through government resolution (GR) on April 24, 2019.
However, the school has not received replacement for 2020- 21 and 2021-22 From the state government, leaving them with shortcomings and struggling to manage their finances in the years of pandemic.
Jyotindra Dave, managing the trustee JN Balika Vidyalaya in Saraspur, said the cost of a number of Rs 15 lakh for girls in their two schools has not been paid.
“Our beliefs face a lot of difficulties in operations because of this.
Representations have been made in many places, including the Ministry of Education but the results are zero,” Dave said.
Their trust, Saraswat Vidya Mandal (SVM), was founded in 1944.
This is mainly run by former students who volunteer.
Currently educating nearly 5,000 students, especially from a weaker part of society.
It has 800 girls registered in two schools run – JN Balika Vidyalaya in Saraspur and Asarwa Vidyalaya.
“We have regularly provided all the details needed to the State Education Department.
This deficiency adds significantly to financial difficulties related to the institution-19 related, from non-receipt of costs and a 25% cost reduction mandated by the government.
The attitude of this callous.
The Gujarat government will definitely prevent serious institutions, well managed, not non-profit and non-selfish residents who manage it, “Jyotindra Dave, manages the trustee JN Balika Vidyalaya in Saraspur.
Gujarat State School Management Association President Bhaskar Patel said, “Schools 1,600 grant grant schools receive a portion of their funds in the form of replacement for the cost of girls.
No one gets this fund from the government for two years.
The total amount is between Rs 45 and Rs 50 Crore.
Our association has made a representation at all levels, including the minister’s chairman, but they do not produce results.
Minister of Education and Executier Education said, “These funds are paid as part of the central government scheme, and we will soon release this after a certain discussion with the department Justice and social empowerment.
Efforts will be made in the current year and the payment cycle will be accelerated.
“Primary and secondary Secondary Education Secretary Vinod Rao did not respond to requests for his comments.
