GUJ Gas further raises CNG, domestic PNG prices

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Gas Limited (GGGL) managed by Saturday further increases the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) and natural gas pipes (PNG) for domestic consumers.
The city gas distribution company revised the price of CNG and PNG for the second time in the past two weeks.
The company increases CNG prices throughout Gujarat by Rs 2.68 per kg to Rs 60.78 A Kg (including tax) from Rs 58.10 per kg.
This new level is valid from October 16.
GGL serves around 7 lakh customers through its network of 450 odd CNG stations throughout Gujarat.
The domestic PNG price has also increased by Rs 1.35 per standard cubic meter (SCM) to RS 27.10 per SCM from Rs 25.75 per SCM.
The price revised is exclusive tax, according to the company’s website.
The company has also revised tariffs in other geographical areas.
The leading CGD players in the country chose to raise prices for the second time due to steep increases in gas prices produced domestically by the central government, which has increased domestic gas prices by 62% to $ 2.90 per million English thermal units (MMBTU) For the period from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
