Gandhinagar: The state government on Friday decided to expand monthly monetary assistance for those who had orphans of pandemics because they reached the age of 21 years.
Previously, the government had announced that those who had lost parents to the killer pandemic would be given a monthly assistance of Rs 4,000 to reach the age of 18.
Chairman of Minister Vijay Kupani met and interacted with more than 30 children who lost their parents to Covid-19, at CM Residence in Gandhinagar on Friday.
Cm announced that under the Mukhyamantri BAL SEVA YOJA, monthly assistance Rs 4,000 for orphans will be given until they reach the age of 21.
Previously, the government has announced that these children will be given preferences for education loans for education studies, will get All benefits under Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana and other benefits of the government scheme.
A statement of the government said that orphans above the age of 14 will be given vocational training and those over the age of 18 will be given skills development training.
