Letter: Special Judges for Children’s Protection of Sexual Violation Actions Announce Death Penalty to Dinesh Baisane (24) on Thursday for rape and murder of a 10-year-old girl in the Pandesara area in December 2020.
Baisane was previously convicted of crime in December 10 by The Na Anjariya court, the second additional session judge.
Baisane had killed the minior by hitting a brick on his head when he bit him in his hand and scratched him to the body when he raped him on December 7, 2020.
Total 47 injuries found in the minor body during post mortem.
“Every crime against children is a priority for the police and we will investigate perfect quality.
The police, medical officers and justice officers work as a team for sending justice,” said Tomar City Police Commissioner Ajay Tomar to Tii.
Previously, the police submitted a sheet of 232 pages in court within 15 days after the crime.
The police said 69 witnesses and evidence.
Among the evidence, the profile of DNA victims and Baisane defendants was submitted.
The police handed over the recording of four CCTV cameras where the defendant was seen with minors.
Scientific evidence includes blood stains from the deceased in convicted fabrics, bite injuries and scratches on the body of the convict.
Among the key witnesses were automatic pedicab drivers and an employee at the Vada-Pav shop identified the defendant.
Baisane kidnapped minor from his home on December 7 with alluring to buy his Vada-Pav and then raped in an isolated location.
The girl struggled to protect her by biting and scratching Baisane’s hand.
He shouted for help when inmates hit the head with bricks for fear of being caught.
The deceased got a ‘good touch, a bad touch’ in the school provided by the police and NGOs.
It is believed that because of training he tried to defend himself.
The two parents of the deceased worked as workers and they used to drop minor at home relatives nearby during the day.
Baisane lives in a neighbor’s house of relatives from where he took him to buy Vada-Pavanya.
“The prosecution has requested a death penalty and it is an important assessment.
This is an important message for anti-social elements,” said Nayan Sukhadwala, the Petitioner of the District Government, Letter.
The court checked 32 witnesses in just 10 days.
