Guj: MAN Killed, Train Stopped for 5 Hours for Post Mortem

Ahmedabad: The train with more than 1,000 people was forced to stop at Palanpur Junction for five hours on Wednesday after Mumbai’s passengers died of a heart attack, and fellow travelers refused to leave his wife there while a postmortem was being carried out.
Although the authorities promised to send the woman and the body in another vehicle to their destination, Mumbai, Suryanagari Express was allowed to complain only after the body was placed on board.
“This is the first time a train stopped at a station, waiting for postmortem to be carried out before the body was taken to its destination,” said Senior Railway official.
Palanpur Junction Manager Station, Dinesh Rathod, identified the deceased such as Narendra Jain, a 55-year-old shop owner of Borivali.
He and his wife Padma Jain, 50, had taken the train in Abu Road Junction.
“They don’t have a confirming ticket.
According to their PNR numbers, they are 6 and 7 on the waiting list.
However, when they traveled with other members of their community, the couple sat with them in the bed coach,” Rathod said.
After the train left Abu, Narendra began to complain of chest pain and anxiety.
Immediately, he began to vomit and fellow passengers notify Tte about his deteriorating health.
TTE told Palanpur station manager who called 108 ambulances if it turned out to be a medical emergency case.
When the train reached Palanpur Junction at 1.04 in Wednesday, Narendra was examined by Medicos in the ambulance 108 and then rushed to Palanpur civil hospital where he was declared dead by doctors at 1:25 a.m.
“We lowered Jain’s luggage and would give a green signal to the train when some passengers created a commotion, said they would not leave Padma alone in Palanpur,” Rathod said.
About 200 passengers descend from the train and Gherrao Teacher Station.
They also removed computer cables because the interrupted communication and trains must be stopped, said Rathod, added, “We told them that we would send Padma along with Narendra’s body in several other vehicles.
But fellow passengers refused to listen and stopped the train from leaving for Station, “he said.
At the pressure of the passengers, the Railroad Department made arrangements for postmortem immediately.
“Postmortem was carried out in wee time after which the body was handed over at 5.15 in the morning,” said a train official.
Padma provided a bed in a bed coach and the body was sent in the special trunk to Borivali.
The request report sought at the Ahmedabad Western Railway division has searched for a report on the incident from the Junction Palanpur station manager because the train was delayed for five hours at a station.
It reached the bandra around 4 pm on Wednesday, which almost delayed 11 hours.
When stopping at one intersection it can cause legal and order situations because there are other passengers on the train, the train looks for reports in this case.
Passengers blame it on the train: the video of the passengers who created a commotion before the train officials became viral on Thursday.
A passenger said, “The train is too late for about 10 minutes when it reaches Palanpur.
The train authority must provide medical emergency facilities at the train station and on the train.” A source on the train said, “Did he get the help of experts on the train or at least At the station, he might live.
