Guj: villagers sleep in trees for fear of raging bulls

Vadodara: Some residents of a hamlet in Taliya Bhatha near Dabka Village in Padra Taluka were forced to look for shelter in the trees after not satisfied bull decided to keep the vigil in the area.
Afraid of his anger, the villagers raised it on the trees and slept high on the ground at night.
The bull has been running amok in the area and even knocked down several residents in Tliya Bhatha, which is located on the banks of the Mahi river which has good feed growth.
Animal paper makes emergency hutmaes here to help their livestock graze in the grass field.
“Bull has knocked down three to four people for the past 10 to 15 days,” said Nitin Jadhav, who told the official.
According to Jadhav, Banteng, however, selectively attacks people.
“He might be harmed by someone,” Jadhav said.
