It took a 45-year-old woman to beat Covid-19 and returned home to her family at Dahod after a long stretch of hospitalization.
He underwent treatment at Dahod and Vadodara and was finally released after his condition became stable with minimal oxygen requirements, reported Sachin Sharma.
Geeta Dharmik, who lost his father in April, had gone to Bhopal for his last ritual on April 23.
The trip was the beginning of his long journey with a disease after Dharmik began to feel unhealthy on April 25.
Her husband trilok Dharmik, a train employee, said that Geeta lived in the quarantine of the house and gave a sample for RT-PCR tests.
However, the oxygen levels went down on May 1 and he also began to experience fever and had to be rushed to the Dahod train hospital.
“Later, the test also confirms Covid infection,” Trilok said.
Geeta was fine for about three days, but his condition deteriorated on May 5 and he was accepted at a private hospital in Vadodara on May 7, where he was kept until May 23.
“We decided to put him back to Dahod.
Only oxygen therapy and all other treatments have been made,” said Trilok.
Geeta was brought back to the train hospital at Dahod.
Here, he is stored in a ventilator for two months and then for another month on the bipap machine.
