GANDHINGAR: Gujarat has the maximum variety of 108 ambulances full of life threatening ventilators, stated DyCM Nitin Patel on Wednesday, devoting 25 brand new ambulances into the fleet.
Patel, who’s also the health minister, also added that the next 75 automobiles to get ambulances have been bought and will soon be added into this 108 ambulance service in a few weeks after being fitted with all mandatory life threatening equipment.
“Todaywe have over 200 ambulances that have ventilators.
I don’t believe any other nation has numerous ventilator-equipped ambulances,” explained Patel.
Each of the 25 ambulances are delegated to different districts,” he added.
Patel explained that, in accordance with Word Health Organisation (WHO) standards, there should be one completely equipped ambulance for each 1-lakh inhabitants.
