Ahmedabad: The State Education Department will immediately start another round to enter under the rights to education (RTE) acting for 18,294 seats that fell emptiness after the first half.
“Parents who have confirmed their reception in the first round but who want to replace the school can do it between August 19 to August 21.
The second round of revenue will begin immediately after this,” said an official close to developments.
Receipt will be held for 10,765 seats in class 1 for British media, 5,528 for Gujarati medium and 1,792 for Hindi media, among others.
The receipt process was carried out for 75,428 seats based on which the first list of 62,985 students were prepared.
Students who have succeeded with the list to confirm their receipt in August 4.
Out of 62,985 candidates who managed to reach the list of services after round one, 57,134 parents confirmed in, said the source.
Of the 26,000 strange applications rejected to enter class 1 under RTE law, around 10,000 students have been selected after they are allowed to re-register.
The State Education Department has decided to provide a second chance to students after complaints that many applications are rejected because of problems in the documentation.
About 26,000 applications are rejected during the document monitoring process.
More than 1.81 Lakh applications are accepted to enter class 1.
According to RTE law, 25% of the total school revenue in class 1 must be provided under the RTE for less capable students.
