Ahmedabad: Gujarat recorded 31 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, pushing the calculation to 8.24,744, while there was no new death because the infection was reported in the state, the Ministry of Health said.
With 49 patients released from the hospital during the day, the total number of cases restored rose to 8.14,356, he said.
The negative calculation of Covid-19 death remained unchanged at 10,076 because there were no new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, the department said in the release.
The Covid-19 recovery rate stated at 98.74 percent, he said.
Gujarat now has 312 active cases, where five patients are in critical condition, said the release.
The Ahmedabad district reported the highest number of new cases in nine followed by letters and Vadodara Lima, Jamnagar Three, Dahod and Junagadh respectively, and Amreli, Devbhumi Dwarka, Kheda, Gandhinagar and Kutch one case respectively, he said.
As many as 1,75,971 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in Gujarat on Monday, taking the total number of doses given so far to 3,18.06.252, the department said.
Union Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu reported two recovery, but there were no new Coronavirus cases.
Tally UT from the restored case rose to 10,562, while the cumulative Covid-19 count remained unchanged at 10,609, officials said.
Now there are 43 active cases in UT which has so far reported four deaths, they said.
