GANDHINAGAR: A earthquake of 4.2 size was listed at Gujarat’s Kutch on Friday afternoon, officials said.
According to the Institute of Seismological Research (ISR), the quake, which happened at 3.45pm, and had its epicentre near Bandhal, 11km north-northwest of Bhachau, also its thickness was 26.7kilometers.
Tremors were also felt in towns such as Bhachau, Gandhidham, Dudhai and Bhuj, in which lots of people panicked and hurried from the homes.
There was no record of any casualty or damage to land, district officials said.
