Ahmedabad: Two children are among the four people who died in a separate incident sinking in the Valsad and Dwarka Devbhumi districts in Gujarat, police said on Saturday.
Dashrathsinh Vadher’s brother (45) and Ajitsinh Vadher (32) were swept away in the Devbhumi Devbhumi Dwarka District in Saturday, said an official from Kalyanpur Police Station.
The duo grazed livestock when they fell to the dam and carried by a strong current, he said.
The rescue team lured the body of one of the men and efforts was being carried out to find the others, the official said.
In the same incident, two children sank while swimming in the pool in the village of Morai Vapi Taluka in South Valsad Gujarat on Friday, an official said from the VAPI police station.
Priyambadh Giri (9) and Manoj Rai (10) was found by the local rescue team on Saturday, he added.
